Hi

I'm glad you've come across Lazy Ukulele! It really means a lot that people are actually reading the stuff I'm putting up on here.

So what do you need to know about me?
I'm a 17 year old A level student from Birmingham. I'm studying English, History and Sociology with the hope of studying Sociology and Politics at Uni in London in two years time. I'm planning on having a gap year, travelling all around Asia and Australasia and parts of America which I'm super super excited about.

It sounds stupidly cliche, but for as long as I can remember, I have always been passionate about alternative music. I used to sing along to the Stone Roses and Bowie in car journeys when I was really young and I was always the weird kid at school who was never aloud to be in charge of the class radio (oh wait, I still am that weird kid). I must have one of those obsessive genes, because I go crazy over bands. When I was 13, I covered my desk with pictures of Gerard Way, while others had pictures of their pet guinea pigs or something...

Enough of my biography. In all seriousness, I love music and I love writing. I started this blog initially just for my eyes as a hobby, but there was a kind of snow ball effect and now I actually write for legit local magazines ... cool. NME editorial positoin - I'm coming for you ;)
